Ok so.... I applied for a scholarship that the Faculty of Dentistry - Kuwait University is offering to study in the U.S and eventually work as an assistant professor at the faculty. Me and 14 other applicants went for an interview on Sunday and they said all of us will be called in for a 2nd interview on Wednesday, well guess what...... they only called 4............. I got the call!!!!!!!!!!!! I managed to know who are the other applicants and it seems like they are surely getting the position just because they were asked to apply  So now Im confused, Im thinking well if they want thoose 3 then they must want me too otherwise they would'nt have called me, then Im like no wait if they wanted all 4 of us why didnt they just say congrats you got it ??? So I called one of the people who interviewed me and he said that they did not say how many seats are available because they want to keep their options open.........which to me is a good indicator  So would you please pray for me, wish me luck, keep your fingers crossed or whatever it is that you do Wooooooooooot |

And yes -- where are you going to study? I recall you were looking at Toronto and Ann Arbor, but I also think others were also mentioned as options.

Update I went for the 2nd interview today, I made sure im there early to get a feeling of how things are going with the other candidates. 2 out of the 3 candidates are already in the faculty staff and appearantly are only there for formality so they can get their papers signed from the University's Administration which means there was only myself and another candidate meaning we have no more compitition After I finished my interview I asked when I would I get a response and I was told there's a lot of paper work and one of the professors said " We called you for an interview twice in three days, I think thats a good sign, do you agree?" and the other prof. said " dont worry about it, you'll hear good things" *does her happy dance* Thanks for all the support guys, <3 DotB |
