Being buglarized totally makes one feel violated. The feeling(s) of violation arealmost comparable to a rape because some dickhead broke into someone's private sanctuary and went through everything.
My suggestion(s), keep more lights on, install an alarm (there are inexpensive "do-it-yourself" alarms out there that are very effective), get a "barky" dog, and buy a gun, especially if she is a single female living alone. Chances are this perp is a repeat offender and prolly has a wrap sheet a mile long, but since these are non-violent offenses he will never do any "real" time.

Raiding wasn't/hasn't been/isn't always the best here, but dammit we try.
Actually...there are only a handful of people that TRY. For the most part, people just showed up and went through the motions and made no extra effort to really be successful or be a better player. Tis the main reason why I left... Just be honest, if Jamis wasn't in Royalty, you wouldn't have even been approached about going over there.
What really pisses me off is, word all over everywhere is that the two of you are attempting to lure other people out of DotB over to Royalty.
This isn't the case. As I told Aular, anyone that wants to try their hand at a pure raiding guild is more than welcome to ask me about it. And, as their friend, I will do what I can to help them. But even if it was the case...it pisses you off that I would want to share the success I'm having with my closest friends, and perhaps those handful of people who've put in the time and effort it takes to BE successful? Those that have barely anything to show except for sore backs from having to CARRY people through raids... How dare I approach people who are tired of wiping on Hydross....the AUDACITY!!! |

Royalty raid: Show up, don't die, all loot gets defaulted down to you cause they all have their gear anyway.
It's more than just not dying...there are no free rides in Royalty's raids. The expect perfection from the moment you walk in to the instance. No one cares if it's your first time to see a boss. Show up. Know your job. Do your job perfectly. And if you screw up, guess what? Be prepared to be humiliated in front of everyone as you get your ass chewed out. Believe me...IT SUCKS! It's not like a DOTB raid where you can show up and half ass your way through an instance...perhaps wiping all night along the way to shit that should have been on far months ago, and no one will say "boo" to you. It's a whole different mind set than DOTB, and I ASSURE you, it's anything but easy. With all that said, there's nothing like showing up to a raid with 25-30 other like minded individuals and just absolutely DESTROYING a fucking instance. I have been enjoying it immensely. |

I meant in my free time. I see this as a game. As Moki my previous guild leader once said "WOW is not a place where you can make mistakes." I don't agree with that. You can make mistakes in real life and people can easily make mistakes in WOW and the world will not explode. In all fairness to Moki, not that I think he should be treated fairly bc he shouldn't, he was referring to 25 man raiding content. More specifically when your mistakes have an effect on all of the other people in the raid. This game is supposed to be fun, and I agree with you that Moki has a way sometimes of making it other than that. DOTB will treat you will Etta. They are the best people in the game, imo. |

Everything looks awesome except for his desktop background...
You really should have gone with a program like Display Fusion, or something similar. With that thing, you can stretch one image across all screens, or put a separate image on each background.
Awesome stuff, regardless.

This is really the only issue I have with Internet Explorer. I use no virus protection and I have no viruses/spyware, and haven't had any for years. When IE is proven to kill kittens or cause nuclear war, then maybe I'll switch, but I see no advantage to using any other browser at the moment.
No virus protection....what! If you don't have Virus protection software, how can you know you don't have virii? And your second argument is ridiculous. "What's the point of driving this Porsche when I can just keep on driving my Civic?" |
